July Blogging Income Report
This is the third month of Debt and Sweat! I started this blog on May 9th, 2017 and will slowly work to build it and keep track of everything as we go. I really hope at some point it will become a profitable website but I guess this is an experiment and we’ll just have to wait to see how it goes.
I plan on keeping track of all my blog’s expenses and earnings (hopefully there will be at least SOME earnings) as well as what I’ve done to get to each point.
Total Income: $0.00 (-$0.01 from last month)
My total income for the month of July was a big whopping ZERO again. Read below for more detail.
Let’s Dig down into July…
July 2017 NET PROFIT: $0.00 (hey at least I’m not in the negative, right?)
July 2017 Blogging Income Report Review
I did ZERO social media work in the entire month of July. As you can see throughout this post. I did zero work at all in the entire month of July for Debt and Sweat.
The most important thing about blogging is creating quality content. This month, I was so busy with my full time job that I didn’t create any new content. I really need to buckle down in August to create some good content so I can increase my page views and create more content to share on social media. Consider the month of July a complete fail. Maybe the only positive of the month of July was that it’s matured a month and the google bots have had another month to crawl it. The older the site is, the more authority it will have in Google’s eyes.
- 7/1/17 – 7/31/17 : 24 Pageviews +18 from last month.
Even though I did absolutely nothing with this website in the entire month of July, my traffic still somehow increased. My pageviews increased by 18 and I was able to capture 20 unique pageviews. I can credit ZERO of that to my hard work and 100% to luck and having my existing content that I wrote in the first month of this website going live.
Google Adsense Earning Report
I have placed one ad on my site through Google Adsense yet no one has clicked on it yet. My estimated earnings for July are back to zero.
My Page RPM is sitting at $.11 which is lower than last month.
Page revenue per thousand impressions (RPM) is calculated by dividing your estimated earnings by the number of page views you received, then multiplying by 1000. … For example, if you earned an estimated $0.15 from 25 page views, then your page RPM would equal ($0.15 / 25) * 1000, or $6.00.
Google Adsense Blog Estimated Earnings: $0.00
