June Blogging Income Report
This is the second month of Debt and Sweat! I started this blog on May 9th, 2017 and will slowly work to build it and keep track of everything as we go. I really hope at some point it will become a profitable website but I guess this is an experiment and we’ll just have to wait to see how it goes.
I plan on keeping track of all my blog’s expenses and earnings (hopefully there will be at least SOME earnings) as well as what I’ve done to get to each point.
Total Income: $0.01 (+$0.01 from last month)
My total income for the month of June was an expected $0.01. This is only the second month of this blog being live. See the information below for more detail.
Let’s Dig down into June…
June 2017 NET PROFIT: $0.01
June 2017 Blogging Income Report Review
I didn’t spend much time in June on social media. I spent about 1 hour pinning pictures from my previous posts to Pinterest.
The most important thing about blogging is creating quality content. This month, I was so busy with my full time job that I was only able to create one post which was my blogging income report for May. Need to amp up my posts soon in order to get more content to create more traffic.
- 6/1/17 – 6/30/17 : 6 Pageviews -2 from last month.
With only producing one post in the month of June, I’m not at ALL surprised that I only had 6 pageviews in the month.
I’m actually completely shocked I got any views this month at all! These numbers are terrible though and I need to step up my game if I want to make this blogging project a reality.
I don’t like to make excuses but the next couple months of this site may look like this as my full time job is taking 110% of my time lately as we are going though a big system upgrade at work. Excuses excuses though…I know…
Nothing to it, but to do it!
Google Adsense Earning Report
I have placed one ad on my site through Google Adsense but since I have had close to no traffic this past month, and no one has clicked on my ads yet. Somehow Google Adsense estimated my earnings for June to be .01 though which doesn’t exactly make sense to me. I believe Adsense is expecting that with 17 page views, they expect at least SOMEONE to click something.
My Page RPM is sitting at $.65
Page revenue per thousand impressions (RPM) is calculated by dividing your estimated earnings by the number of page views you received, then multiplying by 1000. … For example, if you earned an estimated $0.15 from 25 page views, then your page RPM would equal ($0.15 / 25) * 1000, or $6.00.
Google Adsense Blog Estimated Earnings: $0.01
I made my first penny (sorta) this month! Yeah it may seem ridiculous that I’m even a little bit excited about a penny but I am!! Any progress is GOOD progress.
Although this is just an “estimated” earning through Adsense, I’m going to consider this a win for me!
